I was a supply teacher for 3 days in reception class in an Infants and Primary School in a village last week.
My first day was overwhelming. 30 4-year-olds, 4 of them with severe behavioural problems. At least 2 teaching assistants were in the class, 1 of them working closely with 1 of those 4 students. Guided reading and numeracy planning can be seen on the following pictures.
