Speech features – Charlie Chaplin video

This is a great video to be watched in class. Before watching it, students are asked to notice the speech features while watching. Some of these are Building Volume, Tone, Passion, Direct Address, Call to Action, Personal Pronouns to address (you, your) and include the audience (we, our, us), Emotive Language (words packed with feeling), Sound Devices (rhyming), other devices (Rule of thirds, repetitions, imperatives).
